Hello all,

I stumbled upon this site by accident whilst looking for a cider press design, what a great source of information. We moved house last year and so we are in our first year of discovery that started with the scaffolding board raised beds at the end of last year; runner beans, shallots, rhubarb have done very well and the tomatoes are from coming along well (after we were given guidance on pruining). We were lucky to have established Plum & apple trees along with Blackcurrant and gooseberry. We have made our first batch of Blackcurrant Jam which was surprisingly successful for our first attempt, gooseberry and Plum next.

Welcome, another Essex bod on the site. I'm in barking which is nearer london then the real Essex but I do have the postcode lol.
