We have an Events Calander module on the left, is that what you mean?

Yes

Did we figure events was too much work to maintain?

Will do, but would point out, if we lose the main menu, we will be cutting off all access to the calender.

I still think the search needs a button for novice users.

I prefer to see a button too.

I think all the menu items should be buttons, obviously clicking the search button takes you to the search page which could be made a bit better looking, bigger type etc.

I think we've got room to add "Events" to the top menu

Can you add and check that at 800x600 resolution? I would but it would mess up what I am doing right now.

Well, if we're keeping it I'll add some country events to it later. Just need to find the list...

If people are adding to it then we should definitely keep it. The last time we had TFS running you could see it was getting loads of hits

If we are keeping it, then surely it needs the calender module?

It's a bit chicken and egg I suppose. The more people use it the more people will add stuff etc...

It's just the amount of space that it takes, that's all.

So we are back to the "busy" argument. I think that in order to get the poeple drilling down into things, they need to be on the front page....

I've got no problem with the month view as long as it's an active component, just seems pointless if it's not actively being populated (which it isn't)

The separators are confusing me. The left column one you said was missing, did indeed appear to be missing when I looked, now it isn't for me.
