Hi all,

Had a really good haul yesterday with Ceps, Bays and a good number of hedgehog shrooms, wasn't expecting them yet, but as one of my favourites I wasn't complaining.

I found a good number of Larch boletes in really nice condition and, as I hadn't tried them before, I thought I'd give them a go. Got them home, double checked with the big Roger Phillips book and cooked them up.

They are only indicated as edible (not good or choice) but they didn't taste of anything at all really, just mushroom texture. Any culinary delights with them or should I just not bother next time?

Cheers,

M
