as it says above ,tis a nice instrument ,i dont need it .

( im more a percussion and conchazoo sort of chap )

hard case ,very good condition , the action is factory set but it could be fettled to pro grade quite easily ,never thrashed ,never bashed .rather pretty and a sweet tone with a splendid sustain /resonance

it is a good un if you like that sort of thing

im never going to learn to use it well so it is best it has a new home

sensible offers will be considered ,get it here before it goes to fleabay or somewhere else that sells stuff

i cant find any model name or number ,

tis a nice neck to play upright or on the lap ,it does dropped d or g tuning in a moment and will return to e just as easily .it holds tuning well cos it is so solid

being honest it has been unloved and locked in it's box for a while and a good rub down with chrome polish would restore the surface to factory finish
the gubbins inside is in ace working order ,it sustains well across the full range and having had a little go ,it feels nice and still sings in a clear voice .

sorry the photo isnt a proper advertising snap but i hope it shows what the thing is like

ps it is built like a sherman tank and chromed like uncle bunt's choppers ,
(a pro action adjustment in tin pan alley would make it personal and very special so if you are a serious player that would be a good investment )

re price im not sure ,it was marked down in the shop and the owner is a mate and i got two guitars at the same time and that was new and ten years ago etc.
it works as well as new has a hard case that would cost a ton new ,never been toured ,dropped or used as a club

the price is a the best singing bowl i can get for what the guitar is worth so ,what do you think is is worth to you ?

pm exchanges can be swift if im online but leave me a message and i will reply asap ,i can chat by phone if requested to do so

That's lovely. I hope someone who will play it buys it. Such a shame for it to be shut up in a case.

Well, I've always fancied a resonator but I have no idea what it should cost and I can't find that one online. £100?

that would be rather a bargain ,it is a one off or small production run ,rather than one of 200000 production line horrors

tis a professional quality bit of kit

ps the hard case would cost at least £100 new and it is in pretty good condition

Well, if you can bear to come up with an asking price, let me know.

You could really do with a model number if you want people to make offers - Tanglewood guitars cover a huge range of qualities and sounds. For example, I played a nice one last weekend, but I own a Tanglewood electro acoustic which is frankly bloody awful. So I honestly have no idea what yours might be worth...

i will ask a couple of guitarist pals re a fair price for this one ,it is one of the nicer tanglewoods ,i can find no markings apart from tanglewood on the head stock and i dont want to take a screwdriver to it to look inside
the original shop price was about £1200 +case but i got a good deal which i will reflect in a resale price , i spose the ticket price was relative to quality ,

im not expert re guitars but i know a few who are ,if folk bear with me a while i will get it valued ,thanks
