My guess is that Cathryn is talking about stuff donated to her charity shop that's too knackered/terrible to sell on.

This. We have a year's backlog that no-one wants.

I've warned all the charities in a 20 mile radius of Hereford that someone will be wanting to offload quantities of questionable vinyl in the not too distant future.

Is there a music themed/hipstery pub nearby? They could use the vinyl as "wallpaper". It's a thing they seem to do.
