Caught quite a bit of the programme whilst hopping around in the shower near rat fest cupboard. The main thing to come out of it was community action to get rid of the problem. Our family were from Osmaston near Ashbourne and my Dad used to tell of the days when everyone in the village used to go to the different farms with the dogs and flush out the rats. Now when its very rare for people to be available to have any sort of community meeting let alone any action its not going to happen. It was also interesting that most poisons don't work anymore.
im still covered in mud in places, the food delivery folk are just going to have to get over it when i open the door, perhaps the plaid trews with socks over the cuffs will help.
I thought being covered in mud and sawdust was normal. Our local shop assistants seem able to cope with it if I go in wearing work clothes (trying to get as much mud off boots as possible before entry) anyway.
a cubic meter of compost which had an access route tunnelled through it is now spread on the bramble border which no longer looks like it was shelled and flooded:lol:
the wood shed is next, that will be big gloves, trews in boots and a short machete for cqb in a tight space + a kebab skewer for those hard to reach places
rats have good points, at least i can sort useful from carp that"might be useful" as i go for scorched earth area denial
