Been scouring t'internet for weeks now trying to find a secondhand Ashford Table Loom. 4 or 8 staft. 24" or 32". Would actually consider anything as long as an Ashford. If anyone knows of such a thing, would love to hear from you. Must be good condition and complete; am willing to pay a good price. thanks all

eta, oops, its a rigid heddle, missed that bit at first.
Might be worth posting a wanted ad there as well though and on the UK weavers forum on Rav, they come up occasionally- heres one from a couple of weeks back to give you an idea what they are going for

That's a good idea - hadn't thought about an advert on Ravelry. I've put an advert in the local Guild newsletter. The 32" one has been advertised on several sites and I have studied it, but its almost 'new' price. Having said that - I suppose I could make an offer ..... she can only say 'No'

I guess Wonderwool Wales might have some 'special offers' from some of the exhibitors

so I might have to just be patient (which I don't do very well

)

Hi Em, Yes, am on and off the Loom Exchange site all the time....that's where the 32" one Sally has mentioned is also advertised (I've just emailed her to ask if she's open to offers ). Yes, have put a Wanted advert in my local Guild newsletter and which has just come out......so waiting for the phone to ring

I'm using an Ashford 4 shaft now (which I've borrowed from the local Guild) and I love it and have also been advised by nearly everyone in the group not to touch a Harris or Weavemaster. What are your thoughts?
