Not by choice but I have been ejected from the Romsey group along with 42 other people for having an email address the moderator didn't like. It wasn't even offensive so the little jobs-worth must have nothing better to do.

Can anyone recommend any other similar groups covering the Winchester, Farnborough Reading triangle that don't require a social network account to join?

the huddersfield freecycle was a bit odd so i didnt bother with it

get a new group started from a core of the exiles?

we talking about your actual "Freecycle" or the newer outfit "Freegle"?

Many (most?) uk freecycle groups moved to create Freegle a while ago when Freecycle USA went in a direction which we found unpleasant.

So check for your local Freegle groups.
