Wouldn't recommend wineberry..!

I bet a thin enough branch (whip, twig..) would give fine enough detail, you're almost starting with a figure 8 at the bottom for legs then becoming rounder towards the top?

thanks, thin matters to all but a novice, i know nowt of these skills at this scale
a bender or geodesic bender is about my level of knitting sticks

i guess flexible when worked matters?

ppppp

has anyone bought "twigs" in bundles for what i spose is a fancy fishing creel sort of size thing?

what twigs might work?

You can actually make flexible ones with bark. Western red cedar, lime bast are both used to make flexible items. I have seen a pair of shoes made of cedar bark, and lime is used for chair seats.

If you want something more rigid, willow as in basket weaving type is probably the easiest. I use split hazel for basket making and bramble pushed through a diz to remove the thorns then split is good too. Cane as in chair seats is another option that is easy to buy.

I can't think why you want a pair of basketry boxer shorts though.

number 2 in the lamp series

one is captive bolt gun and skull

two is pants on fire wicker man boxer shorts

i probably need a few more, but i am gathering materials for those two as a start
when i do a "theme" it can be quite rapid between all the bits and sketches are gathered and "what am i looking at? and why?"

zoo was "different"
i can, so i probably should

in the "studio of"/"school of" etc, i do not have an issue with getting somebody else to do the manufacturing, i do images i do not make cameras

wicker man boxer shorts are a skill set of basket making which i do not have, the concept and contents are well within my comfort zone

the last one i did at that scale with look and activity was fun, the parts are still in the hedge which is part of the piece
a PIR controlled dreadlock the size and shape of a cobra hissing and moving realistically on an electric carving knife motor mounted in and on a 3 eyed demonic cherry stump was fun.

these ones will not be 240 volts, much safer.
