here we might be a bit less ambitious with our invaders, signal crayfish are delicious, see places and permits(iirc permits are a token gesture towards control and a similar price to a rod licence for freshwater)
easy to catch, easy to purge, tasty
xander are edible, just, and any pond with a wels needs cleaning
