Had what I think was a bonanza today.
Mainly ceps (I'm pretty certain) but also some large boletes like Ceps but with yellow rather than white pores growing with what look like definite Ceps (last picture)
Also some Brown Birch Boletes ( Leccinum Scabrum I think), and a very few chanterelles.
Pictures attached.
Any comments as to identification appreciated (Orange, Apple and banana are for scale purposes !)

The ones with yellow pores are Ceps too, just older as the pores go from white to yellow as they age. And yeah, a few brown birch boletes by the looks of it too.

Good stuff.........

Thanks for replies: After 3 years looking I was beginning to think proper Ceps did not grow in South Wales ! Have previously only found Birch boletes, chrysenteron, and what look to me like luridus, and several types of Suillus

Nice haul! Bubble is right about checking for bitter boletes masquerading as Ceps or similar - they will ruin a meal if they get into your collection undiscovered. Young bitter boletes can look spookily like young Ceps. I usually taste a bit of any Bolete which I think is a Cep but not 100% sure of - the bitter bolete is extremely bitter (!)
