They are good for drainage in pots. The thought of them fills me with dread, though, when I moved into my hse the prev owner - a seller of costume jewelry - left a box of poly chips in the garden.

Doesn't it try to record your presence with cookies? Perhaps this would give a problem if cookies were turned off totally?
Possible, but would it let me in the second time if that was the reason?

Do you mean that you enter your username and password correctly (as far as you know), and then you're told that you've gotr it wrong. When you try again, you get in?
