I made Chilli olive oil last year by just dumping whole chillis in the oil and leaving them there.
A few of them got mould growth in the oil (although I still used it all)

Things seem to be working. I would keep going. At least until you think there are enough peppers on an individual plant. It's not really that much effort for the peppery joy is it? |

woohoo! all my chilli varieties are now germinated, even the Bhut Jolokia ones. the packet said that germination was erratic and needed temperatures of 28-35C... my ancient but trusty propagator str ... |
