If we are looking at small, cheap commuter cars, most people will want something larger for longer distances or carrying more as well. Will reduce emissions, but not road miles or number of cars own ... |

mint would be good for a trial - easy to get hold of for enough test cuttings but not the easiest to propagate.

I just shove a cutting in a pot of compost. Job done. works every time. Geraniums are so easy.
other cuttings, I will still just use potting compost, but pop a bag over, as Gz said, and put in ... |

I suspect cows are a lot easier than sheep. But you do need more land for cows. I have 2 acres.. and was able to have all those animals comfortably, but it wasn't enough for cows. |
